In the series SKIN TREE BONES I work with harvesting culture where the materials are broken down and processed through refining methods such as dehydration of body parts and extraction of color, refining of various organic glue, oil & alginate.
Wood is often included as an important component and the works can take the form of cast objects, musical instruments or composite sculptures.
The series started in 2020 and is ongoing.
